Sophomore approached us with an idea for a simple visual identity system that could help bring their brand and physical space to life.
The system needed the ability to work in very small spaces as well as pattern-heavy, type-driven executions given that their produced assets vary so dramatically.
The co-founders of Sophomore were very intrigued by South American art, particularly Incan tapestry patterns that featured vibrating concentric lines.
